was sitting in front of a monitor drinking pepsi while listening to AR Rahman
gazal a facebook chat window blinks up a message from Ahmed-al-Rawi of Saudi
Arabia (an alias account of Col.Raveendran, head for covert operations in
Pakistan ) which says Sibyllin is a go, Robin logs of his account and finds
Vikash.
0730hrs 10th January 2013
All
the four members dressed as Pakistanis drove to Waziristan in two Suv’s, Vikash
and Arjun took front followed by Jaye and Ranjeev with 30 minutes interval immediately
after the team left Robin calls in the command makes a official statement that
operation Sibyllin started on 0800hrs 10th January 2013 mean while
Vikash calls in through wideband segment 6-7 for comm window for update it
takes 6 hrs avoiding highways to reach Waziristan so they will three such
windows before having any action these comm. Windows are routine process in
every covert Op to inform the command that all going according to schedule.
1400hrs 10th January 2013
20 kilometres from Waziristan.
Vikash
pulls over the vehicle in front of a restaurant and enters inside by greeting
the cashier with “asallamu alaikkum” and takes a corner table in the far end. A
tall white man (CIA contact Mr. Moore) comes and takes the seat beside him,
Arjun distracts the waiter by ordering a soup in phasto (a language
mostly used in Afghanistan and Pakistan), Moore caught eyes of everyone at the
restaurant because of his ethnicity. Tourist are not allowed to Waziristan so
only war correspondents and foreign officials will dare to go there. Taliban
literally own the whole town so they will be alerted about a foreigner meeting
two Pakistanis but RAW’s NOC Tariq will take care of it so the STF still has
the element of suprise, meanwhile both exchanges keys of SUV. Arjun pays for
the soup while Ranjeev and Jaye who were waiting outside restaurant were given
signal from Vikash that rendezvous with CIA is complete.

Driving
in the formation barely visible in the moon less sky with no lights. The
vehicles near the Waziristan mountain range: dimly visible.

takes a sharp turn skimming through the mountain.
VIKASH

Waziristan, Pakistan.
Small Cottages
mixed with large suburban home with array of fields and a stand of trees could
have been nice place to visit for weekends if not for the presence of Taliban’s. It appears
AC1: It is massive 3 to 4 times larger than any nearby structure-with 10 feet
high walls and a gated interior it will make a good fortress. Jaye climbs up
the nearest tree to get a bird’s eye view to her surprise there aren’t any
sentries or no indication of any armed personnel. Vikash calls
in TOC inform about them about no resistance, Robin advises them to stand down
afraiding that their cover had blown,but Col. Interrupts him by saying that the
mission is still a go, team gets relief.
COMPOUND FIRST GATE:
Vikash
and Arjun cluster near the first gate in the animal pen. Arjun places the
charge on the gate while Ranjeev checks the prayer room. Boom! The charge
partially opens the metal swing doors leaving them a narrow gap, Both muscle
through the narrow gap of the gate while Jaye climbs up prayer room with
Dragunov for providing cover.
GUEST HOUSE:
Vikash
and Arjun arrive at the guest house they can’t see anything inside because the
doors and windows are covered with sheets. Arjun kneels down and places charge
at the front door handle but the door erupts with an AK fire.
Bullets fly out of the wooden door as one skims through his
left shoulder. Arjun kneels lower while putting a dozen rounds inside. A moment
passes they wait for response a minute later the door lock opens up Abu
Sulaiman’s (brother of teams target Abu Yasin ) wife appears at the doorway and
walks out.
RANJEEV
Ir-fah ee-dek!
ABU SULAIMAN’S WIFE
You killed him.
Three peel inside the guest house over Abu
Sulaiman’s dead body lying in a pool of blood. Arjun and Ranjeev pump safety
rounds into the body. A girl cowering in the corner, Arjun moves her out of the
house. Vikash radio’s Jaye to rendezvous with them at main house courtyard.
MAIN HOUSE COURTYARD:
Vikash
hears that Jaye across the court yard prepping for a breach.
JAYE
This
is Victor 02 I am going to breach the main gate.
VIKASH
Victor
02 stand down we are on the other side gate
Ranjeev
opens the door and lets Jaye in as a group they move inside the main house
through south side front door. Piercing the first floor darkness with their
infrared lights they advance slowly into the hallway. Piles of household
clutter stacked in bizarre shapes greet them like innards of a haunted house one
of them catches movement. A figure with an AK-47 scrambling through the clutter
and disappearing around the corner.
Abrar!
Abrar
the personnel body guard of AbuYasin re appears at the end of hallway Jaye
pokes his head out. The team clears out first floor Ranjeev opens a file
cabinet stuffed with documents. Tariq
who was hiding behind a refrigerator shout outs out his call sign Victor
Whiskey three niner November India, Ranjeev calls in Arjun to escort him out.
MAIN HOUSE SECOND FLOOR- STAIRWAY:
Vikash
climbing up second floor with gun held up he sees a flash of movement landing
above him, He stops climbing
Yasin?!
A man
appears at the end of second floor hallway –sssht Vikash fires at him bullet
hits his knee and knocks him down back to his room, Vikash fires again but
missing. He storms in to the room followed by Jaye.
